We Teach. We Mentor. We Impact.

Rhiza’s response to the unemployment crisis is simple. We don’t view our learners and students as multi-skilled, diverse and we drive their talents into tangible skills. Our programmes offer unemployed youth aged 18 to 35 a comprehensive and grounded learning experience in various demand-driven industries.

Our Skills Development Programme

With the majority of youth unable to access tertiary education institutions, we create a space of skills development, linked to job opportunities, to educate them to pursue their career aspirations with the right tools. We connect graduates to our social enterprise and parties in our network, to assist them in finding employment or becoming self-employed successfully.

The Skills Hub

Our agricultural projects train women and the youth to create resourceful gardens. These gardens are on Rhiza Babuyile-owned land, where we train and capacitate learners into becoming traders.
Our community participants then sell to leading supermarkets and formulate functional businesses.

Fashion & Design:

We’ve established business hubs complete with incubation programmes and open workspaces. These Incubators assist unemployed individuals from the townships grow their businesses, while providing entrepreneurs access to open workspaces.
In addition to the business hubs we also aim to develop entrepreneurs who can become suppliers to our corporate partners.
