On Thursday, 1st of September 2022, Experian and Rhiza Babuyile came together to present and opportunity for learning and growth to entrepreneurs. This is another step in the ever-growing partnership between Experian and Rhiza Babuyile, which first started in 2011.
A Financial Savvy Training was held to aid our entrepreneurs understand important financial aspects of their company. The focus was on various topics such as bookkeeping systems, profit & loss, determining selling price etc.
Guest Speaker, Sylvia Radebe, who herself is an entrepreneur. She has worked in senior positions at company’s such as Kellogg’s, General Motors and Barloword.
This event was also the launch of the first Johannesburg/Gauteng based Vuka Programme. The Vuka Programme has previously run 2 groups in the township of Kayamandi in Stellenbosch. This programme provides entrepreneurs with one-on-one coaching as well as group coaching in various aspects of business. Through this programme, we have seen the growth in many business and even the establishment of some.
We hope to continue this programme for years to come and continue to build SMME’s across South Africa while creating employment and partnership opportunities.
