Our initiatives promote skills development, entrepreneurship skills, mentorship, funding and flagship community programmes to alleviate unemployment.
Rhiza Babuyile believes in developing our communities and reintegrating individuals into society . We’re built on a ready-to-serve principle, building skilled and sustainable communities on generous spirit and future opportunities.
Established in 2005, our humble beginnings laid the foundation for Community Development, providing skills and enterprise development to former inmates. In 2016 we solidified our presence in Diepsloot and Orange Farm, in Johannesburg, Thabong in Welkom and Fisantekraal in Cape Town. Today, our focus centres on 5 skills and community programmes, uplifting people and providing the right tools, nurture and skillset to repair young, depreciated lives as a means to sustain their deserving futures.
Through regular donations and partnerships, we have witnessed transformation in our people of tomorrow. We’ve equipped individuals with entrepreneurial skills, we’ve created secure job opportunities and we’ve provided community health and agricultural aid, to sustain families for up to 10 years. We’re proud of this, and our partners are too.
Together with our donors, we build the foundation for empowerment, encouragement and endurance.
I don’t believe in building dependency on our beneficiaries
but rather provide them with a skill that will lead them to independence.
Rashuping Morake (CEO)
Our community development approach is one where we step and survey the entire community. We appreciate the potential, talents and assets within local communities, and are ever mindful of the interrelated nature of social and economic challenges. As such, our programmes are multi-dimensional, addressing healthcare, skills development, enterprise development and education.
We believe in the cyclical nature of community development, where results are planted back into the community for everyone’s benefit. Our investment to develop entrepreneurs and young people produces highly competent, passionate and driven social actors. These individuals then reinvest their resources – finances, time and talents – to build their communities on firmer economic and social pillars.
